Champs format

Why don't they use the worlds format for champs? Personally I like it a lot better and I think it would be more entertaining. 16 teams in Swiss (no rematches) to a single elim playoff bracket. I think this would also fix the issue of having a boring venue for all but 4 teams in playoffs, as you can have ALL of playoffs in the Arena if you schedule it right. Single elim is slightly worse from a competitive standpoint, but I think Champs should really rally around the 'no last chances, this is the end of the year' type of vibe.

Here is the league format: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dp7GQJssP7Y

What are your thoughts?

Also to add on to this, I think it would also really help distinguish between champs and masters. Outside of the flashy colours, prize pool and number of teams attending the events are actually really similar.

16 team swiss stage is too expensive for them
they only know how to appease the brain-dead val community and sell their skins

I think they could do it in a studio, I mean we're gonna have hella money from CN now, plus the bundles are doing really well. I think at this point I can safely think money wont be an issue, it's just a matter of Riot reinvesting into the scene instead of pocketing the profit.

I think they're gonna keep swiss for masters but they should do a round robin instead of double elim group stages in champs
