Many think that this year is “Mickey Mouse” due to the stupid format and weak level of play (compared to 2023).And indeed, this year at every event there were moments in which it was impossible to believe that they happened (for example, clutches s0m vs C9 on Split 2 or incident Boo vs Mazino in lower final on Champions).But the season also gave us incredible matches (FPX vs TH in Shanghai, NRG vs C9 in Split 2) and of course amazing stories from TH (from one of the worst teams in EMEA in 2023 to the last hope of the region in 2024), SEN (the second Masters won after two years of disappointment), GENG (a long awaited trophy for Pacific) and EDG (after two unsuccessful Masters, they came back and won the first international tournament for China and the first Champions for all of Asia)+DFM finally won their first victories in era of franchising.This season has shown that Pacific and China can finally play on equal terms with EMEA and Americas.This season was great and all the victories at international events were deserved.I'm glad I was able to watch this season and I hope the offseason doesn't disappoint us.I wish you all an interesting, fun and useful off-season.
