Does riot gives them a different trophy after champs coz the gold plated part seems so different

I thought it was obvious that teams can only take a replica home.

Isn't that what most sports do though? At least in football the winners aren't allowed to keep the "real" World Cup, instead they get a gold-plated replica of it
