Just like TenZ how he got demoted from duelist to Smokes

i mean is there anything wrong with that? players like meteor and yay are way too inconsistent on duelist and the former has been getting much better results and impact on sentinel than he ever has on duelist

i have zero expectations for yay in 2025 but i believe he will be on his meteor arc if a team is willing to buy him out from bleed and with the right help of course

Leaf was a former duelist, now he is on senti. catNmouse mentioned Meteor who also was a duelist and is now on senti. And they are all doing good in their respective roles. So certain players can benefit from a role switch like this. And, given Yay's playstyle, he could be a great fit for that in comp. But looking it as a "demotion" would be the wrong way to see it.
