ranking up valorant

The misinformation is to lock Reyna and hopes to rank up just by doing that, probably the biggest #1 worst advice you can give to any low-rank player.

The reality is if you're not learning agents while ranking up, by the time you reach any decent high rank like DIAMOND, ASC or IMMO you are just gonna look boosted because all you know is locking in reyna and "shitting" on bad aimers. In HIGHER rank everybody knows how to sit on an off angle and will 1 tap you as you swing. You have no more advantage as you did before in lower ranks, even in PLAT. Ill give you an example too,

This guy that I faced who locked Reyna dropped 24/18/3 with 32% headshot rate against me, realistically thats pretty good but if you look at his tracker. The only thing he can play is Reyna and when he faces anyone actually good which I like to consider my self, he is going to lose.

Its much better to actually learn an agent and grind up the hard way than to be lost and look like a idiot once you reach good lobby's.

i’m horrible and hit ascendant two with like, low diamond mechs by playing astra cypher viper kj, just play agents that you can have impact on rather than trying to frag out. in ranked kills matter a lot, but you can still win 5 rounds a game basically solo just from a smart postplant, a good 1v1 play, a good outcall or read

edit: i fw estonia

exactly man, it's a strategic game. also I'm sure your not horrible bro, but it is frustrating when people start playing agents and look like bronze players because all they knew before was locking in reyna yk.

tracker check “lielahh#777” i am COOKED lmfaooo, but yes strategy matters more. if ur cracked aim then learn reyna but shes only a ranked agent. im of the opinion ur better off learning entry roles and having actual impact other than just shooting people (jett, raze, neon)

IF you want to rank up fast MASTER AIM

Aim doesn't just mean clicking heads it also involves movement, response to abilities, crosshair placement, clearing corners, holding angles
The best way to master these is playing bots in the range and making a simple aim routine, doing deathmatches, watching pro player ranked vods and look how they move their crosshair, hold angles, clear angles, etc.

Learning agents is also important and you should be able to play at least 3 agents comfortably, depending on how you play however Reyna is one of the agents which you should probably never lock in unless you are dropping 30 every game match mvp, she serves little help and when playing her you will often be the final player alive

Reyna is an agent that’s good if you’re underranked and that’s about it :P

Reyna serves very little help in Valorant especially in lower ranks, the higher you go the better she is just because more strategy is being played. Even if you have amazing aim she really isn't that good and if you do have really good aim, play senti or someone like jett

Also, you have a decent win percentage meaning you aren't bad
I would rather have someone that is giving good util usage and comms than someone that is top frag but bad util usage and no comms

one sets the team up for success, one uses their ablities to get their own kills

dude dw about it, you play initiator so your stats aren't actually accurate. count your assists as if they were kills because realistically your setting up your teammate to get that kill. also a tip from me is you should pick 1 agent and play them 24/7 until you know the inside out of that character. sure its "one trick", also watching vods of your favorite pro streamer or pro game helps as well. The number one thing i learned about watching VOD's of games and pro streamers is always know what your next move is after swinging. for example i always know how im going to unswing or what to do next like cage main before i swing or cage my self swing and then swing back into the cage. always knowing 1 step ahead is key and will help you understand the fast micro decisions which is key in valorant.

This, its more than flicking. if you understand why i need to peek this or why i need to cage and swing outside the cage rather than swing dry. Understanding gunfights in general is so key and you can learn all of this by watching VOD of pro games and watching pro streams.

cant see tracker, am in school. i have a LOT of hours on Cypher and Astra so they are probably mastered or near it. KAY/O I played lots but when I was low elo so dont really know him, I can play most agents to a passable/ranked level tho

Ofc u can make plans around her but she just gets less value than most other agents. She has merit but is just mediocre at what she does

the reason i say stop locking reyna is because people only lock in reyna to use heal, dismiss. thats it, reyna doesnt teach you utility usage and actually taking good fights rather than getting bailed by a lucky headshot and getting healed back up to 70hp or 100hp

perth is nice (said with no bias) and closer to eu than anywhere else by a fair few hours of flights. we are 5h from singapore vs melbourne being about 8, 5h from sydney, 4h from melbourne :3

I have two tips for someone trying to rank up quick:

  • Play the game - don't be scared to play, play for improvement not rank and actively actually play the game like getting into situations that test your skill and understanding and practice reading the other team and calling. Over time playing the game will get your game sense up especially as you get into higher ranks
  • Learn Aim - learn your sens and don't change it, watch pro player ranked vods see how they play

I am only D3 rn but that is cos I barely play, I started playing again beginning of the year and got from P2 to A3 within like 2 months because I did the aim stuff, if i actually played the game more I would have easily been immortal probably

spiders are the biggest miss conception about australia

in my 17 years I have rarely seen any dangerous spiders, most of them are spiders that cannot even hurt you
I have also never seen a snake besides the pet ones

mhm, I agree with this. I think also forcing yourself to IGL even if you IGL talking to your self would help improve your game sense than just playing on co-pilot, even if it means being shizo.

"Reyna EYE A and nade A, im going to wall up and molly to delay"
"Breach stunned long and your teammate says "one outside showers", I think they are going to TP once they make noise and hit A instead"

understanding or trying to read what the other team is going to do will 100% improve your game sense i agree

I think the biggest part of the accent I have is the way I say the 'er' sound, australians say it like 'ah'

example: americans say bigg-errr australians say big-ahhh

But if you asked me australian slang, I wouldn't have a clue besides the sterotypical ones
