Is Fnatic Defining the Haven Meta?

I have been watching some games from other regions outside of NA and notice the masterclass dominance of FNC on Haven. The way they are playing the Yoru and Iso is nuts. I analyze that they use sort of hit-and-run tactics with the Yoru which always allow for triple lane proactiveness. The Iso vun. With shock dart and Yoru sprinting long or short on A for example completely locks the other team (e.g Vit. In grand finals) out. The Iso then either follows up or rotates based on info. Yoru can also just get out when the other team wastes hella util to clear him out of positions. Also, when Yoru and Iso get their ults, it’s legit an insta-win. Alfa has won almost every Iso duel (~80-85%) and Derek uses his ult for great repositions and insane combos/info for the team. The others also do great with support, especially Hiro with him understanding his role as the Cypher anchor on C. Now this is just defense I’m glazing FNC for, their attack is also insane and probably requires a damn 5 paragraph thesis. Ngl, I am absolutely glazing FNC rn, and I think they are favorites to win champs. Lmk thoughts about this?

I wouldn’t say NAVI Haven is the best per se. They only played it one time is it wasn’t as convincing as FNC in this split. Their idea is cool with Neon instead of Iso but NAVI is just shit rn. Also thanks bro.

I do think that their defaults are something completely different because of the comp they play, and how they agress on a site based on yoru+sova info is kinda cool.
I do wanna see how it works against teams like Gen.G cuz I don't think it's sustainable, but that's just me

I mean FNC has played Haven 5 times this second split against 4 different middle to top of the pack EMEA teams and blown every single one of them out. Like, no team is getting to double digits due to their insane defense.

The worst part for teams is that fnc could always go back to more standard comps which they popularised in earlier years and still dominate like they are now

Navi btw had something similar but instead of Iso they would run Neon and that Haven was maybe the best they played in stage 2. So the comp definitely works

Yea it’s cool, maybe Yoru is the meta primary duelist on Haven instead of Raze or Jett. Then the secondary slot can be filled with any other duelist (maybe even Phoenix) or initiator like Kayo or Breach. For FNC, Iso works best (or lowkey could be the best option for the meta in general due to the busted ass ult and shield). Alfa is just too good on that agent.

Real question is how do you anti ts. Other then hard commit C and hope Hiro doesn’t shit on your chest, idk how to anti their A/mid aggro default. You could try to flush em out with util but Yoru just escapes and makes you waste util.

try to break hiro set up and then play post plant spam or push spawn and the same with B ig or they could try to mirror comp and do the same
