Stage 2 it's kinda unfair

I'm brazillian, so this could be kinda biased, but i think it's really unfair that stage 2 doesn't reset standings like in LoL. FURIA was dogshit in Stage 1 and deserverd the last place, but they made some changes to the roster and i think they are some mid tier team rn, and i would really like to see them atleast having a chance to try to go to playoffs, but that was almost impossible since beginning because of 0-5.

Not just that but closed circuit is really bad for an FPS game, i like the way Valve and CS do things.

but I mean this is just classic C9 tho. just do well during the beginning of the year and then choke when it matters at the end.

the records carrying over is kind of necessary since the groups are so massively unbalanced lol still rito’s fault but not necessarily a bad format

Depends on how you see it. If you see it in the way that this harms teams that were bad and improved, then yes, quite unfair. But this format also rewards teams that have been consistent since the beginning, and won't punish them if they struggle towards the end. It's a give and take really.

great point too, imagine if you got the easy group for Masters, but then got the hard group for Champions lol. It would be unfair as well

i think this take make a lot of sense actually, it's mostly a choice of the organizer of the events. like "we rather reward consistency or a teams that suddently improved?"
