extending onto this thread,

While watching NRG I thought I was tripping but Im glad someone else saw it.
Their decision making in the composition, their macro level and strats.

How does 1 initiator fade setup YORU(single duelist)? - At least have a breach instead of a fade.

Why are we picking DEADLOCK instead of KJ or cypher? - You have to fight every single round now because of no passive information, you can't have a turret holding C and garage simultaneously. You need maximum 2 people at all times around B and Garage or you get lurked and inserted on. (G2 took advantages of this and LEAF had free kills).

Even their pistol round macro doesn't make sense, why is ethan buying 2 TP's and 1 flash with a classic trying to fight mid?? It doesn't make sense, the ideal buy should be 1 clone and a ghost or 1 clone 2 flashes and get dropped a ghost.

NRG are actually fucking horrible WTF.

I didn't watch the game, but were they using the Yoru as the Entry, or more like Ethan's Pearl Yoru.
The idea of that comp should be Clove Entry but if Ethan is going first...

I mean you have two decay abilities, two seize abilities. SURELY you combo those with a shockdart or a grenade right? Surely??

Until you realize the NRG comp doesn't have ANY damage abilities

it literally makes no sense, lol. YORU is super OP with an initator that can set him up with stuns and what not so he can tp to them or ult onto them. What the fuck is fade gonna do?

Are you guys under the impression that this is the first time they've ever run this comp?

just hopped into agent select and said "fuck it, we'll play these agents"

It HAD to have shown some promise in scrims and not translated against better teams. If everyone showed up and just fragged out and they won you guys would be saying it was a crazy take on the meta.

I don’t know about promises cuz s0m said they haven’t been winning scrims before last weeks match

who knows what the fuck happened in scrims they could've just aimdiffed everyone with the clove without using the utility properly

but there was so much wrong with that game I don't even wanna go into it

I agree it was gross, but it's disingenuous to think that someone looked at this comp, had them lock it, and didn't have a gameplan.

It just didnt work AND the players just didn't show up either.

There's no way everyone on NRG frags out, lol
one of their players averages 0.4 K/D in Split 2, and the other one is Crashies

"showed promise in scrims"

or they just got baited by their scrim partners in the exact way Sliggy describes over 1 year ago about Talon

it’s a complete failure on everyone and I do not for the life of me understand why they would try and defend the themselves in their situation, it’s fucking embarrassing.

On god man, I COULDVE fucking done better. I know theres no way you can run 1 initator fade as your solo initator and expect to setup your duelist at all. I also know for a fucking fact running no senti(basically since deadlock can't trip or spot players) on a 3 bomb site doesnt work well.

NRG FUCKING HIRE ME
