Acer's weird cooling fan placement on laptops

Why the fuck do these mfs put their cooling fans anywhere but at the bottom where they are supposed to be? Who the fuck puts their cooling fans above the keyboard, under the screen or from under the fucking keyboard. What is this obsession

The reason is probably to improve airflow. Believe it or not, laptops are usually placed on tables/ flat surfaces. This means that you gt better airflow when the fan isn't on the bottom(I don't actually know this is just a theory.... a laptop theory)

Man the problem I have is that the entire hot air gets shot up to the screen directly. Like it's infront of the hinges. I am not saying it's bad I am just mad confused about their decisions.

Yeah I agree, I've seen them on the side but for some reason laptop companies have a massive boner for making the laptops thin which makes any side fans smaller

Yea like I don't get the point of making "gaming" laptops thin. You are literally compromising shit for a lighter product.
