Make this change and G2 become on-par with heretics and GenG. Icy isn’t bad at all and he’s definitely a franchise-level duelist, but he isn’t a star either. Demon1 plays duelist in a way that is perfect for a team like G2: not a hard entry but still expected to create space. He would slot into the G2 system flawlessly.

Considering the gap in skill between them and the two teams that placed above them, no I wouldn’t call them a top team.

they beat heretics twice before and yes got rolled on the final time which matters the most but they are capable and probably got tired out. more experience just means they will be able to perform at a higher level for longer which is also heretics' problem so both teams should get better with time

bc hes an aggresive player? he could 100% easily adapt just look at what EG did last year. they were a well balanced team of map control and aggression.

if anything it would give g2 even more style on top of what they are now

g2 need the complete opposite of a guy who prefers to be the secondary duelist/second person into site, they need that main space creator which they have already in icy

Icy isn’t even a hard entry like someone like aspas or Jawgemo. He definitely plays a more passive duelist kind of like how cryo plays it

its a different style to aspas or jawgemo but he is still really good at taking that space passively and when he does entry, he is insanely selfless which is perfect for g2
