EMEA VS APAC

I feel like other than Turkish teams it’s sort of an expectation that teams will have players across at least a few countries and that is the norm in EMEA. However when pacific teams such as scarz rn do it it’s seen as an extremely weird and petty thing to do. Where should teams that represent apac generally but not a specific country play? Most European teams just represent Europe with no specific country, should apac teams just not be allowed to do this?

It’s just a cultural thing I think. Asia seems to stay divided by country and the people are more prideful of their respective countries. Europe obviously has some of that too, but I think it’s a lot more common in Western culture to not be so prideful in your own country.

In emea teams with multinationalities are common practice , where teams like kpi only has one or no Spanish player at all ( depends on how you want to define kiles). In apac this is not so common thing to do. Indonesia only did it with zeesbeew and Thailand did it too with LBY. Teams like Even in region where they are likely do it like MY/SG , this is a rare occurrence. Only Jp and SA imports players to this degree.

And what scarz did is just pushing the lines a bit too far. 3 players weren't enough last year and now they're pushing them to 4. If scarz is an eu team, sure, no one would bat an eye. But doing that here is a different story

Brother, 2 italians would be a big start. There is no country except turkey with a one nationality team.

You expect way too much it seems.

Isnt Rainbow SIx Siege the most popular shooter here in Italy besides CoD? You can also see that in the fact we do have some T1 talent in Rainbow Six unlike here, I font think Valorant is that popular in Italy but maybe im just on outdated info

but in franchise, there are many apac teams with multinational roster such as paper rex (2 indos, 1 sg, 1 my, and 1 rus), bleed (2 sg, 1 th, 1 viet, 1 kr), rrq (3 indos, 1 kr, 1 rus), t1 (3 kr, 1 indo, 1 american), and ge (1 indian, 1 indo, 1 sg, 1 brits, 1 finnish). apac as a whole (except prx), starting to adopt that culture

That applies to pacific teams, granted ,they are PACIFIC region after all not necessarily Indonesia or Japan. The reality is if you look at t2 things are not the same no imports in Thailand, Vietnam and Phillipines.

in EMEA, there are a lot of multicultural places and multi-national people. When I lived in Korea, it was so different because in Asia, most countries aren't a multinational/cultural.
