How strict is valorants new text chat policy?

I was playing sage and getting harassed for being a boosted egirl (Im a dude) by the other team in text chat like all game long which is like who cares ... but i just typed back towards the end and called them Virgins as a joke and I got an immediate 2 week ban. First time ever. I am pretty shocked. I've had teammates who have just thrown games because they have a female on our team and other weird stuff like having mental breakdowns and going afk and they probably get to keep playing but this is what gets a 2 week ban? I guess this is expected from a company that wants to fine thousands of dollars for people shooting/tbagging bodies.
