i mean i would say he was fundamental to the victory

its impossible to say if it would have happened without him but im using him as an example to prove that you can have a player that looks like he will never win a tournament but you can't really tell because maybe the system wasn't fit for him or synergy with other players wasn't as good.

same with zyppan, he is a great player, maybe even tournament winning caliber (he already won one, but perhaps again) if you put him in the right squad

sort of the same thing happens with coaches, you never know the true value they bring until they are on various rosters and you see them perform. like potter is GOAT, or for example coach HSK from GenG who previously was on DFM, and you may have said he is a shit coach but it's impossible to know. on the other side of the coin, coaches like carlao or goked seem to have really not success across different teams.
