It would be much better if Riot did a format similar to the new Lol Americas league for VCT Americas, dividing the league into a North and South confederation, with 16 slots in total.
- No visa problems
- Possibility for South American teams to have higher level training
- Greater space for development of Tier 2 players
The group stages would be separate but the playoffs would be in one place. (Los Angeles). Two teams would ascend via Ascention in each confederation, staying for a year in the franchises. Another benefit is that it would also encourage organizations to invest in tier 2, as it would not be so difficult to get a slot in franchises, and even if they can't, there are a greater number of teams wanting to buy players.
Slots:
North:
6 NA
1 LAN
1 Ascention (NA + LAN)
South:
5 BR
2 LAS
1 Ascention (BR + LAS)
In the first year, the Ascention slot will be filled by a team invited by Riot. At the end of the season, this team would have to dispute against Tier 2 teams to maintain their place.
