I would consider 100T getting their rounds doubled 28-14, 13-2 on the final map of their tourney, embarrassing. I would consider G2 losing in rounds to TH 16-39 (-23) definitely embarrassing. When are we going to accept the fact that placements that don’t net champ points are useless. Oh they got 3rd-4th!!! Cool i’m sure that everyone pulling for G2 and 100T was dreaming of a scenario where 100t and g2 could squeak their way into a top 4 finish lol. Yeah right
- If you are going to talk this much, at Least be educated. 100T lost 13-1 on the final map not 13-2
- Judging the final series instead of the tournament as a whole is dumb as hell. FNC, PRX, Lev, EDG all had embarrassing tournaments combined the 3 teams went 0-4 in playoff and they had title aspirations. Both 100T and G2 went 2-2 in playoffs only losing to 1st and 2nd place
- You jumping from them getting embarrassed to 3rd-4th being a dream placement is diabolical, Yk there’s a middle ground right?
- What does champs points have to do with masters Shanghai(beyond 1st getting points) riot tried to de-emphasize its impact on champs ? The most important part of this tourney for those 2 teams was getting their rookies in eeiu and icy experience, 100T still has an ~90% chance to make champs based off their champs points and G2 still controls their own destiny.

Don’t act like that was nearly close lol. Both teams looked good against ok teams and got exposed late. And that’s fine. G2 were never expected to get as far as they did, the idea they should be embarrassed for losing a rematch to Heretics after already far exceeding their expectations is bewildering. they should be proud of their performance at Shanghai
in 100T’s loss vs GenG they lost ONE more gun round than GenG did and lost every single 1v1 scenario on icebox (ascent idk) it was a very close series.
It’s completely accurate… they are tied in championship points with SEN at 9
SEN has to play NRG, G2, C9, and Kru, while 100T has 5 opponents(1 more chance to get a point) and has LOUD, Lev, EG, furia, and MIBR. Because of how hard group alpha is this split 100T is also primed to get a top 2 seed(which gives another championship point) meaning they’ll need to win 1 game in playoff to make champs and and if they don’t they’ll make it through championship points
