because their natural enemy is super aggressive star duelists. their entire playstyle is contact heavy splits where they find catch people out and force them into risky fights. icy and cryocells aren't good at disrupting that type of play and so they folded to the system

gengs worst loss was against LEV on icebox where aspas did exactly this. he got in their face and shut down their plays before they could even set it up. this is also why they matchup poorly vs PRX

That was an off game from them. even meteor in an interview said that they felt pressure in the stage 1 grand finals match. plus they dictate their pace of the game by punishing and suppressing their opponent's game plan and them impose their own game plan after. not the other way around

they aren't rly "cooked" they will just have a harder time, obv bc unlike lev who was just aspas and tex hitting shots, everyone in th can shoot back and they are better in every other way (compared to lev), but dont forget that geng has crazy anti stratting and has adapted properly to different playstyles (both 100t and g2 have very methodical styles) so yeah crazy match regardless
