It's not even that. Most of the kr talents (there's a lot of them) just refuse to play in kr t2 aside from a few like Exy, Free1ng, Hann, Yoman etc... They just rather play in other subregions' t2 if not completely not play at all because of reasons like low salary and low viewership. Both which is a microcosm of a bigger problem- the lack of investments in the kr scene. Kr t2 teams rather just employ players that is already in the scene despite not having the best skills, than put funds in their scouting to recruit actual talents like Hyunmin and Dh or pay good players like Stew, K1ng, Suggest etc... the salary that they deserve.
That's the real reason why kr t2 is in shambles imo. Not because the t1 teams are taking the talents but because t2 korea itself can't maintain talents and stop them from leaving the region for other regions(china and japan mostly).
