Calling masters Shanghai MM is proper BS.
Each team played 5/6 league games,
Semi - finals with double elim
Whereas madrid qualification was just
1-2 games + single elim semi finals.
12 team tournament is way better than 8.
Atleast qualification was clearly MM for masters madrid

Quality of Masters madrid wasn't too high aswell
And we can judge Shanghai's in few weeks

Shanghai Arena alone mogs madrid tho

Atleast lock in invited all teams , not like madrid qual . Where #1 seed of region only played one game and 4th seed into playoffs was warmed up quite a bit winning 3-4 series
