Because in a lot of countries, black kids dont have the luxury of being able to play for hours on their own computers. Esports is still elitist, and as a rule, black people have less resources than white or asian ppl

Afaik lan houses were prohibitted in Italy for a while, also having a prize pool for gaming events. That kills any competitive scene
