Cis eu tr in vct 2022

Imo it would be cool if we had 1 spot for eu 1 for cis and 1 for tr.
Then place 2-5 from eu and 2-3 from cis/tr meet in a 8 team tournament where 2 more teams can qualify. It gives cis and tr a guaranteed spot (wich I think everyone would like) but also rewards the best region out of these 3 and keeps up the competition between the 3 regions.

This system would delete most of the contra rguments for EMEA and for splitted regional slots

I had this idea in my mind for a long time. It made a lot of sense to me. If we only have 1 slot, we will be defeated like Bronzil s and return Gear. But if we have a chance to play with Europe, we will gain experience

exactly and if in 2022 EU is far better than cis and tr then we'll have less competition

They connected the regions for a reason and I don't think that they will change it just because some people are against 4 slots for EU (even though we see they don't get all 4). EU is also too big to only have 1 guaranteed slot and if you give them 2 then there is no tournament between EMEA

i mean if u give them one spot and they are very good they will take the other 2. sure atm turkey and cis can compete but eu orgs are much richer and have much more talent. its easily possible to have a year without cis/tr in international tournaments

And if EU isn't good enough then you leave it with 1 slot? Too big of a region for 1 slot. Also giving 4 slots to EMEA gives tons of opportunities for CIS/TR. Considering results of this year, of how big is valorant in TR and how many rewards did CIS acquire in other FPS games I believe that there is enough of possibilities for everyone in current system

Whats the matter of EMEA playoffs if the best teams of the regions doesnt play in it? We saw that if theyre good enough every region can qualify through EMEA playoffs, EU made it 2/6 while CIS and TR made it 1/3. Perfectly Balanced. Why not just keep it that way?

the thing is, sure atm it works, but eu has more players and money. we can easily see a year without cis or tr being in any international LANs. that would suck. tr is a huge region and its a shame to not see them in a LAN.
they way i described it you can still habe 3 eu 1cis and 1tr team but every region sends at least one and fans have someone to root for

Yeah but for example if I was SMB I would try to be #2 instead of 1 because I know I can easily qualify without playing Acend and Gambit for example + I can play in EMEA playoffs for practice while Oxygen becomes #1 and gets destroyed in the intercontinental tournament. Also G2 wasted too much money but SMB still shit on them. Everything isnt money. NA CS teams had money too but most of them didnt work out. Everything isnt money, if 4 EU teams qualifies then they deserve it… everything works with this format, its definitely better than getting destroyed in LAN just to have a team to root for.

This will be a horrible thing for CIS and TR teams, they are looking so good now because it are playing against EU teams all time, that guaranteed a nice competition and force the regions grown. I need this mix happen on Brazil with LATAM, i think this will be a good thing in term of long.

Just because smb and gambit qualified doesnt mean they will be able to hold the level of competition for long. Ww can easily see 2 or 3 masters in a row without turkey

wouldn't that block 3 teams for 2-3 months from playing any games? how would that work?

3 teams qualify throught their region. Regional finals ona weekend. And next weekend the interregional finals
