then talk to ur parents about it
talk to them about responsibility. bring up the point that they can’t test your responsibility if they don’t even give you chances to go out and show that you’re responsible. until then, try to be responsible in the little things and in every other aspect like school/work/home life and it will tell them that you are responsible enough to go out on your own. if they reject that idea then they’re just shitty parents and you’re gonna go into a life knowing nothing about how to cope on your own (say that to them in a more respectful way)
I have a strict asian parent so i know what you fell
As of now i understand why they do such things because they're worried, advice for me is talk to your parent and negotiate it
Tell your parent that you're big enough to know which one is right or wrong, if they still doesnt want to then still playing behind their back is also okay at least for me cause i know you're anxious and dont wanna have no friends but trust me if they're really your friend they arent gonna stop befriend you over this things and yeah it's either you talk to both your parents and friends or you're still playing with your friend behind your parents back
Strict parents, most of them time, are usually good for the longer run, improving skills such as focusing, or hard work. Yes, you may not be able to go out as much but you will most likely never talk or see them after high school as life goes on since people come and go. But make sure they’re not controlling your life completely or harassing you which can lead to depression(happened to me) or even worse. Just try to see it from their perspective sometimes. You’ll understand when you have kids one day if you do.
