current masters/kickoff tournament ranking in terms of entertainment
- Copenhagen 2022
- Berlin 2021
- Reykjavik 2021
- LOCK//IN 2023
- Madrid 2024
- Reykjavik 2022
- Tokyo 2023
StalwartTiger_35 [#2]tokyo should be way higher, that tournament was hype
but ez FNC stomp
it was a good tournament
but nowhere close to the others except Reykjavik 2022 (no EU vs NA games at all + EU's best teams werent even at the event so it was kinda bedge)
only thing that puts Reykjavik 2022 > Tokyo is the ZETA run

fnc did stomp but the other storylines like eg and edg and prx with the sub were really unique and can't really be replicated
BathW0ter [#4]Any particular reason for Reykjavik 2022 to be so low?
I feel like the Optic - Loud rivalry along with the amazing run from Zeta with the DRX revenge match was sweet to watch
zeta's run is the only reason it is higher than Tokyo
huhferno [#7]id put lock in at 6 then moving everything up one. all I can remember was fnc vs loud
bro there were so many games tho
a lot of them were pretty hype

trueeee
other events were just better tho (all masters/kickoff events are good)

Shouldn't Lock in be no. 1 according to that logic?
Since both the DRX vs LOUD semis and FNC vs LOUD gf were both almost reverse sweeps with the grand finals being the best comeback of all time?
sentinelmain377 [#6]
- mostly because other events were just better
- no EU vs NA games at all
- eu's 2 best teams werent even at the event/had 2 subs so it was only AMERICAS and PACIFIC really.
zeta's run is the only reason it is higher than Tokyo
Well, FPX was really unlucky that time and Fnc wasn't at full strength too iirc(wasn't that the roster with Brave?)

tbh i couldn't catch most games since they were usually on morning weekdays for me
