I dont think people understand what recency bias is, saying players are good/better then other players due to recent accomplishments ISNT recency bias, its just stating who is better currently. Recency bias is not acknowledging past accomplishments due to recent events, like saying derke was always playing bad is recency bias but saying FNC arent currently a top 3 team or that SEN is the best team itw isn't recency bias because thats been proven recently
Every time someone brings up recent accomplishments in arguments I always see people calling recency bias even though its usually factual(ex - Zekken is the best duelist itw RN, he played better then aspas/demon1 and just cause they were good last year doesnt make them better RN)
