im a software engineer and i just troll ppl on vlr or lift weights until i hit a nice train of thought and get all my days work done in a few hours, never listen to music while im tryna think and get in the zone. But sometimes if i'm just in the flow i put on music cause i already thought out everything im going to do.

good food + blue light filter if work involves using screens + regular breaks and pomodoro + 8 hours sleep PLEASE + walks help a lot when in a rut
also what works for me is ditching all of this in the last 3 days and going bat shit crazy 110% locked in no sleep only work
but ideally you shouldn't need it if you do what I've said in the first paragraph
