They trialed him. And they would've signed him too if the demon1 and ethan deal didn't pan out. Sinatraa also knows crashies, marved and victor pretty well too. And nrg as an org is familiar with Sinatraa too since he apparently had played with the org before during overwatch. It definitely could've worked out. Yea he is controversial, but the incident happened like 3 years ago and it's not like he was actually guilty of it in court.

When it first happened, sure it was a big deal and orgs def couldn't sign him because it was still fresh in everyone's mind. But now, no one cares that much and when you look back it, it was just social media drama of he said/she said between two immature individuals.
