C9 KR what if?

Honestly. I feel like so many people underestimated what this roster could be. What do you think they'd be able to accomplish if this roster was still together.

Munchkin(CR)
Hate(TNL)
Xeta(C9)

(Try, Doya, and Moothie were replaced with Xeta, Hate, and BuZz.)

Literally all of these players are fantastic and I could see this roster going to Berlin or Iceland if it was kept together. Sadly C9 disbanded it a while back probably because you can't have two rosters or something.

Here are where the players are now to give some context to who these players are and where they ended up.

Try and Doya were honestly pretty shit I guess so that probably made some people underestimate this roster. But after adding the new 3 players. This could've been the team to beat Vision Strikers. Try joined ZFgaming a while back with some other players. But it was not working.

Moothie. He was not that bad and he went to ANG Darkhorse I think and that team was honestly a Dark Horse. But they disbanded sometime. He then went to Japan to play in Lag gaming with Bazzi. This team was also pretty shit. And then Moothie just kinda didn't play. And then he teamed up with ex-TNL players and others to create an orgless team called Unknown which played in this qualifier. But flopped out after losing to Vision Strikers and World Game Star.

BuZz. Is an absolute monster of a player. He went to Bearclaw Gaming which was probably a new org trying to cash in on the free money that Riot is giving to support Korean Orgs. But this team was pretty darn stacked. Two of the other players came from T1 Korea which was also trying to get a foothold in Korea but probably the you can't have 2 teams rule. Made T1 pull out of Korea. Those two players were Harry and 10X. Which you can now see on TNL and Vision Strikers. Then they kept together after the org kinda just collapsed. And then they found a new org. Called Rio Company. But BuZz was poached by Vision Strikers. But he was a monster of a player. I can see why.

Munchkin. You might know this player from Overwatch. Because he is from Overwatch. He currently plays for Crazy Raccoon and you might've seen him in Iceland and you might see him again in Berlin.

Bazzi. He first went to Japan to play in Lag gaming. Which was not the worst roster. But not the best. But now since Crazy Raccoon are doing some sus shit. He's now playing on Crazy Raccoon with Munchkin.

Hate. He went from C9 KR to Damwon Gaming. They dropped him after they acquired Chibab and Kelly. So then he went to Detonation gaming. Which is just a random org in Japan. But now he's on TNL where he looks pretty solid.

Xeta. Yes he is that Xeta on C9 Blue right now.

Prob not top 3 world. But def a team that could challenge Vision Strikers and Nuturn and go to Iceland, Berlin, or even Champions. I think they would def be a top 15 team internationally. Def a force to be reckoned with. And would be quite a good roster.

Could have been a good roster now if they stuck together, but I doubt they would be better then current Vision Strikers/Stage 2 Nuturn with Lakia

They had a lot of comp overlaps that made players uncomfortable, with one example being BuzZ (an insane one trick Jett now) being forced into the smokes/sentinel role

True. But I think in the current meta they would be fine. Because Bazzi can flex onto sova and breach and Xeta can play all 3 initiators. I think with the initiator meta this would be decent for the two. Hate is a fantastic sentinel player. Munchkin can play raze and cypher. And BuZz should prob just be on Jett.

The biggest problem is the lack of a smokes player but I guess they could flex Hate onto Astra.

But the team would've had a multitude of roster changes since then. So probably those problems would have been fixed.

Just unlucky that this team had to have been disbanded though.

Maybe. Who knows. This team disbanded a while back so we would never know how well this team would perform if they stayed together.

I saw this team in a rare matchup: C9 KR vs T1 KR and it was great. I honestly think they could rival the majority of teams on the Asian Continent

T1 Kr was getting a heck ton better. But honestly it wasn't the best. I think they would still rival most teams though. Unlucky that they had to disband.
