i’m surprised riot doesn’t have a rule put in place which prevents what just happened with yay and NV. If it’s the playoff tournament i feel like teams should be barred from making roster changes, as obviously players want to play with a winning team and this results in players leaving their teams in order to form super teams. Now TSM and SEN are punished for winning by drawing possibly the second best team in the tournament early.

You can only make 2 player changes in total during a VCT year. Because you lose all circuit points if you have less than 3 of the original players.
And they do have a rule. If you're on a team that qualified for any of the challenger main events I think. You can't join another team. Even in Challengers 1 or 2 main events in Stage 3. So teams like V1 and Gen.G can't have their players join T1 teams I think. Or maybe I'm just dumb.
I guess you could consider DZ or Ghost. But there's no real benefit. Because you lose practice time because you have to integrate a new player. Honestly I'm fine with this rule from Rito.
The only rule I'm not really fine with is the T1 teams not able to participate in T2 events if they qualified for like masters a while back or smth like with FaZe.
