Post Plant is boring to watch so i got an idea how to fix it or make it better. After the Spike is planted, ability damage should be dropped to maybe 35 - 50% so you cant run miles away after plant and do your abilities the job. This would be so good and defuse attempters could actually tank mollies and shock darts!

Edit.: Or even make it better. Imagine The Spike (in planted situation) consumes the energy slowly so your abilities get weaker and weaker. So the more the spike runs, the less damage your abilities do. This would make also sense Story wise. For the lore.

Personally I wouldn't like this. IMO Post Plant also isn't as good as it once was and will probably just get weaker over time. The nerf to Viper's molly has done a bit to help fight the post plant, same with making Sova's Ult 8 points. Some more small changes like this, as well as Kay/O getting into the meta more, plus new agents. I just think your fix it a bit too extreme for something that is already on it's way out slowly.

That would actually be insane. Also imagine the flashes flash less the more the time runs. That's a big idea to fix this situation.

Theres no guarantee Kay/O will survive for the clutch and also people find now new and unpredictable spots to molly from so if you don't have your Kayo and his Ult it doesn't do anything.

This acctually one idea ive never heard of before and it sounds so good to me! I guess Riot will never change this Post Plant trash as long as the sheeps keep buying Skins.

I think you got some creative ideas that could be turned into something. I also hate the post plant meta but more towards the god plants and spamming version of it and wish they would change the maps slightly to prevent this. Like haven c site, c long shouldn't have direct vision onto the bombsite. Even if your smoked off c long as the attackers in post plant scenario, you can just ping bomb and spam. Especially god plant back site to the left of the radiant crates is just op and not counterable unless you have a sage wall. Just think how many sites have direct vision from their respective main.

I do agree. But like I said, line ups aren't as powerful as they used to be with the nerfs to Viper molly and Sova Ult, it's being used less and less in pro play. It's still obviously there. I just think with it already going away slowly as well as Riot being aware of the meta. Something like making utility less effective just cause spike is planted seems like an solution that is overkill and might just cause other issues.

There's an Icebox rework coming. Which is probably the most post meta map. So am curious how the rework goes before doing something like this. This just seems like a last resort kind of fix, not something to use on a meta that is already slowly on its way out.

u realize almost no teams play dedicated postplants right? show me a round where no guns in a retake and postplant were used please please then this would kinda make sense

Idk seems dumb, rn the only post plant agent that is super annoying is viper so maybe just nerf her mollies or cloud? Killjoy can be destroyed easily and sova shock darts are only good for like 5 seconds

tbh viper molly is the most annoying one around them cuz theres no way to dodge u can kill kj molly, dodge sova ult and darts etc. so i wouldnt change the whole game just because thats broken, fix the molly by lowering its damage instead, since it also brokes ur armor which is op. easy
