Since it's been about 2 months since Masters 2 ended, I wanted to make a thread talking ab how the Iceland teams are doing so far in Stage 3
SEN: smooth sailing for these guys, already in NA challengers playoffs and the only real competition is XSET, 100T, and NV for now, meaning they're a lock to go to Berlin
Fnatic: looked strong at the start of stage 3 but ended up losing to the always solid Guild and rising G2, and since then have fallen off a little, although they still have a good chance to go to the EMEA playoffs (I still think that they might rethink their comp on some maps)
Nuturn: had a big loss in Lakia, however, 10X has been a good enough replacement and solo is playing great, which means Nuturn is still top 2 KR, although VS are now looking scarier than ever
TL: ever since a disappointing finish at Iceland they have been trying to elevate themselves to the next level by switching up their comp, having Jamppi stay on controller/Sova while Scream played Jett. This provided mixed results, ending with them being eliminated by the hands of FPX in the first challenger's closed qual. However, it seems that the addition of KAY/O to the game has given new life to TL, as Scream has found success with the agent and they are now one game away from qualifying to EMEA playoffs.
V1: never got to really practice a lot with their full lineup and exited early from both closed quals, maybe now they have time to rethink and practice new strats with their full squad
VKS: haven't watched them much but Sacy is on Jett now which is cool, they prob are favorites to go to Berlin from BR
KRU: haven't watched them but they made LAS playoffs in first place which seems pretty good to me
X10: even with Patiphan out due to injury they made a lower bracket run and secured the 3-0 over Full Sense to once again establish their dominance in SEA
CR: They have made the biggest roster change out of all these teams, benching Munchkin, rion, and zepher for Bazzi, Fisker, and ade. Some1 plz free my boi Munchkin he deserves better. CR are also likely to go to Berlin
Sharks: idk much ab how this team is doing except for the fact that they qualified for BR challengers finals, maybe a Brazil fan can lmk?
Overall I would say SEN, VKS, Nuturn, X10, CR, and KRU have the best chance to go back to LAN
