TS 0 - 2 TLN
TS should be the clear winner here. Emphasis on should.
TS came off a dominant win against various T2 teams in the recent Predator League, so clearly nothing much has changed.
Talon, however, is much more unpredictable. Keeping only crws and Jitboys, the new players are notable in various ways (especially lenne, having played briefly as TS's 6th). Sure, their performance in the offseason has looked shaky, but they have since had plenty of time to fix things.
We have seen cases where these kinds of moves surprise, especially since we've literally seen this last year, with TS winning 2-1 against Talon.
Anyways, TLDR TS wins this.
Thai fans are petty (me included) for dropping the Thai roster for an international team but their Afreeca TV performance was literally with less than a week of practice. You can still see some traces of shaky comms but overall TLN's trading really impressed me here. Lenne's IGLing and reads have also impressed me and I can see how dedicated he is to this role + I'm happy Crws can finally sit back and play the game without worrying about calling (albeit this game was not really great for him stats-wise).
Ban finally getting to play duelist again and KAYO which is practically a duelist. Governor showing us why he's a ranked demon (we'll see how he performs against opponents that actually shoot back) but as long as he stays confident we'll be chill since his duelist hero pool is also very diverse. Jitboys and Crws ~ what can I say say, they're both such solid players with Jitboys having insane mechanics and Crws having that giga-brain. Last but not least, as long as Lenne can keep calling well and stay calm whilst pulling his own weight then this team looks solid.
Okay... Been watching TS for so long now. Here's my take in this match...
The strats that I'ven been seeing in TS for so long has been missing this game, like where are the strats at? Seems like they have been neutralized by talon. Team secret has been struggling on teams with very good duelist/oper. You can look up their matches and most of their losses are teams with S-tier duelist/oper.
NDG is a downgrade version of Dubstep. YES he is, dubstep can do what NDG does but NDG cant do what dubstep does. At least dubstep can be a good anchor for TS with that operator but NDG cant. He looks lost in this match. What TS need is a very good duelist that smells blood better than everybody else.
Dont get me wrong TS is a very good team, just inconsistent. When against a team with good duelist or an unpredictable team like Talon, TS plays like shit what more on better teams this year...
NDG out, call that boy GIANSANITY!!!
stopped watching after an 8-1 something on ascent. Wow. Can't even say nice try. Bro I give up, prolly just gonna support T1 this time. AHAAHAHAHA i hate it bro. I preferred gian for TS but when NDG got it I fully supported him. I thought bro could actually change things despite how minimal the changes were in TS. I hope, I hope, I hope he shows tryouts NDG. Invy is the most consistent out of them, so maybe ill change teams but illl still root for Invy.
While I agree that Governor is a great player, who would he replace in NA?
Leaf
Demon1
Zekken
Cryo
Oxy
? The issue is that NA have the best duelists. You can MAYBE make the argument that he is just as good as some of those names (personally I don’t think he is, not yet at least) but I don’t think anyone who knows Valorant would say gov is better.
