Edg and Jdg are quite similar power level and I could see either making an international run but I’ve given edg the edge due to their experience as well as being the better team coming into the new year but these 2 could change.
Fpx are looking to be the funnest team to watch in China with BerLin cooking some of the craziest strays with the rest of the team being cracked aimers, similar to NAVI but if they can integrate life well and autumn takes to flexing well this team has crazy potential.
Trace are another team with crazy potential, with fengf showing that he is a consistent high performer and one of the best players in the league whilst still having decent flexibility. This team will need to match his level if they want to be a top 3 team but during evo they showed good signs and I was especially impressed with YOU in particular.
BLG have not looked so hot since champs, whether it’s the coaching change or not I’m not sure but they’ve been a bit all over the place. So the fact they’ve brought in a new igl to replace arguably their weakest link (rin) is good news for this team and could well bring some life back to this team.
Wolves I’ve rated higher here than other lists I’ve seen but I’m so impressed with spring and what he’s done on NTER and NIP. He is showing the he is a top entry player consistently and hasn’t had much luck being on a top team. Yuicaw really impressed me as a senti during his time on Ase and pl1xx has always been a good player despite him one tricking yoru on weibo for a while. Crazy high potential team if spring is properly supported and enabled.
Tyloo is a team I was high on going into the champs qualifier and they looked decent but dropped the ball for that 3rd qual spot. This team has looked lost since, dropping SORRYMYBAD just to bring him back and just generally making roster changes that weren’t necessary imo. Now they’ve lost abo and got hfmi and have potential to be a top team if ninebody gets his confidence back and they can get the chemistry right but I’ve lost a bit of hope in this team.
Tec are 100% the biggest dark horse of cn imo alongside wolves. The signing of rb is a huge boost to add to some already good players like abo and shameless. I struggle to rank this team higher due to them being so new but I mean if they can maximise rb to his full potential and the chemistry is there I can see this team reaching a top spot.
DRG are rated this low only because of the firepower of the other squads. Yes they just beat Ase and ra in a crazy run showing their potential but in those games they were getting bailed out of disadvantaged states by vookashu so often that it feels as other teams improve rapidly as you’d expect from a young region they won’t be able to rely on one player as much. If another player or 2 steps up this team has potential but I can’t rank them any higher despite their ascension run.
All gamers and nova both seem to have some of the leftovers that haven’t been picked up, with neither team looking to do anything crazy. GuanG is a nice pickup for nova but I’m not too familiar with either squad and will need more exposure to put them any higher
