Next Year Internationally

As an eu fan, I also have this feeling
bronzil_enjoyer [#9]m3c was last hope 😔
ever since they disbanded, my region hasn't been the same 😔

I don't think EMEA look bad. We have FNATIC (best team in the world atm according to previous performances), Team Liquid (arguably speaking), FUT (they're looking good), and that's about it. VIT is somewhat lacking in my opinion and isn't actually as good as some people say they are. Idk how KCs new squad will turn out to be and the rest of the teams just barely look alright.
I think APAC is looking great. T1 looks like they've reached new heights with xccurate, and while DRX and PRX haven't been performing at top levels in the off season, they're still highly reputable and we can definitely expect them to continue to challenge international trophies. Other teams such as RRQ look good as well, and who knows? Maybe DFM will give everyone a pleasant surprise.
China is somewhat of a question mark. I can't say for sure how good some of the teams are, but there is a large group of players with insane potential. Also, I'll go ahead and say that currently, they are the most interesting region to watch. Their unorthodox plays while unorthodox, are rather refreshing and may keep one at the edge of their seat. But I digress. Teams such as FPX, TE, EDG (?), and possibly JDG (if RA roster) too, are all teams to watch and all share the potential to make playoffs in any international LAN (in my opinion). China is looking like a great region and I hope we can see them produce a bunch of amazing players.
Americas is Americas. They've got NRG superteam now, which on paper should dominate every competition. Sentinels also look great. There are some other teams that look nice (LEV for example).

Gambit was and could've became something truly historic imo but...

Imo its
Ame >> EMEA > Pac >>> China
Americas is simply too stacked
EMEA is also looking very solid this year with VIT(Runner is looking promising and they got trexx instead of Destrian), FNC, NAVI(With ardiis back they should improve), FUT and TL. Apart from FNC and NAVI emea rosters prolly cant compete with Amercas rosters but they are still looking extremely solid
PAC has also upgraded but the player quality in pacific is generally lower(ZETA was dominating lcq)
CH is just very behind rn and needs a few years to develop

Americas is indeed too stacked.
I forgot about VIT getting trexx. Yeah that's pretty good. I always overlook NAVI as well idk why they just always slip my mind.
I think APAC has upgraded by a lot this year, and ZETA probably won't be in the picture much imo (I hope this take doesn't come to bite me in the rear end).
CN is definitely behind, but I think their unexperienced playstyles may just catch some teams off guard or smth (copium from getting too into China VCT league lol).

Apac has def upgraded a lot this year but PRX and DRX are not looking too hot coming into this year, overall imo most apac teams lack the worldclass talent required to make it deep in internationals

I don't know about DRX considering their recent roster changes, but I think PRX was probably using the off season tourneys to test some things (I read somewhere that they were playing different roles or smth some time after the afreecatv tourney). I don't believe this is the year for them to be winning any trophies yet again though.

yes pacific just lack top talent

I still think they're good as a region. Perhaps I was doing EMEA too harsh by placing them last. It could be attributable to some sort of extension neglect, or anchoring bias (I don't know too much about pacific).

Yes they are a good region, but imo the T1 is the perfect example of a 3-6 place pacific team. They can be very good, but when it comes down to it the players dont yet have it in them to win match ups that they could
Still I think the the middle of the pack pacific teams arent much worse then the middle of the pack EMEA teams, just EMEA looks a lot more likely to have multiple teams make it deep in an event(Hell last year I might have said that pacific were better because EMEA only really had one title contender and were lacking teams at the top level)

Touche.
I agree with you.
