do i need to ask for work to do or I just wait until my boss tells me to do something?

Just take initiative honestly

Wouldn't ask for work to do because then they will probably see that you aren't busy most of the time and then assign you more work. Unless you are trying to move up then yeah I guess asking won't hurt.

depends on the job and if this is just for some high school income or actual needed income. if ur just a high schooler looking for spending money then I'd prolly just fuck around and make sure the things that need to be done are done.

If you dont plan on going to college then maybe take some higher up initiative and get some recognition under your belt so you can move up and vertically in the workforce more easily
