Affiliate Teams

So what is up with teams in the VCT looking for affiliate teams? According to Flynn the teams of (Furia, Kru, Leviatan, Team Liquid, Giants, FUT, Karmine Corp, ZETA Division, DRX, Rex Regum, Global esports and Bleed) are looking for affiliate teams. Is this only to help with the finance, or is this a partnership with other teams? Can someone explain, my brain is slow lol

It makes roster changes easier in case they need it

bascially a minor league team ( Like the G League of The NBA )

if a player is performing well on the affiliate team they can come up and repalce someone not performing on the main team, I dont think theyre in it for money or anything but its a goodway for someone to get a chance instead of them having to leave a team or having a team have to buy a player out bc one of there signings is playing like shit in the season lol
