For yay: this is the best move he couldve made, i mean imagine being a pro player at the top, then playing a singular match in franchising only to get dropped and go down to challengers. ONLY TO LOSE 9 MATCHES IN A ROW. the fact that he managed to get a roster in tier 1 again is CRAZY but the fact that he MOST likely got the bag for it as well is beyond crazy.
for bleed: i genuinely believe that no matter who they picked up in this roster instead of yay, they wouldve been able to get top 5 easily in pacific. The rest of the bleed roster is stacked and they got enough support behind em to reach the top without a doubt in my mind.
what im worried about is that youre adding an outlier to a team that wouldve already been good... take a look at any imports in valorant history it has NOT worked out well
Adris joins nrg.. that should explain my point on its own
cned joins fpx.. this one isnt an import but it still disrupted their synergy
sacy and pancada go to sentinels.... 2 champion level players reduced to ordinary players
Stuff like this doesnt work out because of chemistry, synergy, teamwork, team culture, team coms
import player is gonna be homesick, in a region theyve never been, in a culture they have no familiarity with, speaking with players that doesnt have english as their native language
when youre building a team, you should be taking into account, whether theyll get along (prior exp playing tg), play similar playstyles/has a similar mind when it comes to playing the game (certain regions have VASTLY different playstyles, and if youre someone like yay who likes to play in a certain way, i just hope the coach/igl also wants to play that way), ability to adapt/get familiar with the rest of the roster.
listen im sure theyll be fine and i come across as a hater but i hope stuff like this doesnt become the new normal
tldr: teams should priorities team chem over dropping the bag for star level players across the world
