Apparently there something happened during off season and they didn’t wanna continue with Tex

There's just better options than tex. Aspas, Demon1, y0y, etc

no I agree, that's 99% what happened. But another thing to note that makes it a bit comical to me is that valyn just recently went on an interview to say that team chemistry is extremely important and having people around you that you like and trust, and then g2 immediately forces them to play with leaf rather than tex.
