title. relax. if they play like this in lower, they can't win.
boaster and chron need to step up and derke should be derke.
i'd say alfa and leo did ok-ish.
Deadpanmitten94 [#5]Nah bro this wasn’t FNC not being FNC, they clearly just got diffed in every aspect. Loud had a better game plan entirely.
nah bro, fnatic usually got aim too. this series tho, not it.

They made 2 crucial mistakes on Ascent:
On Lotus, Loud was well prepared, while Fnatic's ideas looked stale. Fnatic also seemed to lose their confidence after the first few rounds.
EntryKJ [#8]They made 2 crucial mistakes on Ascent:
- did not break sova recons fast enough in B main (cauaunzin was getting so much value because of this)
- played 3 consecutive attack rounds extremely slow and lost them (even saved a 3v3 or something to let Loud get 12)

So they played the same slow game that usually works. It didn’t against Loud. Loud didn’t look better because FNC looked worse. FNC looked worse because Loud looked better. It wasn’t that FNC “just played bad”. I’m not saying FNC didn’t make mistakes. But boiling the loss down to “they didn’t play like themselves” is disrespectful to the way Loud played.

this is so true

I'm not trying to discredit Loud. Loud was clearly much better prepped on Lotus than Fnatic. Ascent was pretty even (and I thought Fnatic could have won it if not for those 3 slow rounds), both teams were prepped. Fnatic should pull other maps out instead of always picking the predictable maps. Maybe go for Bind over Lotus.

That’s fair. Even letting Ascent through kinda felt like they were just banking on the same Loud the played against at Lock in. Almost like it was an ego pick.

i agree, also, they played too slow, they also palyed heavy a too much, that last round they got impatient on ascent.
adilKhan [#14]If FNC keep doing the same stuff over and over again, eventually teams will start countering them more and more
Same happened to LOUD, everyone was watching them to learn how to play before, people starting to realize how to anti-strat them because they just play the same shit every game, fnatic players diff everyone
