For a region that was newly made they pretty edg never won anything before master Tokyo.Blg won the first Chinese game of a lan and made playoffs.They are not overrated.

China only had 1 opportunity to qualify for international tournament in entire 2021 & 2022 too. 2023 u could say is their 1st proper year.

can't remember 2021 but their only opportunity was Asia LCQ and their 2 or 3 slots were removed.
2022 East Asia LCQ have 2 CN teams vs 3JP and 3 Korean teams to qualify for Champs.
They literally didn't have opportunity to qual in any masters AT ALL. Just LCQ for champs 2022.

2021 champions berths were removed due to match fixing scandal
so China's first appearance in VCT was made by themselves, not by Riot's gift

EDG and KONE (a team with Knight, yosemite and sword9(EDG’s assistant coach) all played in East Asia LCQ last year.. both teams looked promising especially EDG who won LCQ but EDG got grouped in Champs 2022 groups
