If you want tier 2 to be profitable you (the people complaining about riot) need to actually be there and watch tier 2 games, you can say you watch but the viewership is shite lol, t2 orgs dont get any traction on social media AT ALL even in NA let alone other regions
even if riot added another split teams would be hemorrhaging money because esports is simply unprofitable unless you get enough clicks to your organization its not about competition money at all.
there is 100% a point that t2 players dont have to be treated like derke and aspas lol there is absolutely no reason why a disguised player needs to be making or receiving the guarantees a franchised player does, it works like this in any sport in the world before you make the top flight, no reason for it to be different here, children who don't know that theres risk involved in ANY career will cry but thats life you just see more tweets about esports players not having work.
the solution always and is just increase t2 to 4 splits and ascension in December next year with and push collegiate teams more ( riot does this ) because thats a safe way to build amateurs. The reality is that not every t2 player is good enough to make 6 figures, hell even make 80k USD
If league 2 and league 1 footballers in the UK are making ~80k you cannot expect T2 of a brand new ESPORT league to make a living wage off of being an amateur you just can't its not feasible. Stop crying, watch the games.
