Valorant draft system

What if we have valorant have a draft system like the nba or nhl where each year players can declare themselves for the draft and the worst performing teams from last season gets to choose first. MIght be a good way to keep teams competitive.

would be cool but hard to organize

this would be cool af but riot would never you kinda remove the buyouts it makes the game way more fun since you just gotta salary guys

i feel like it wouldnt work that well if they kept the 3 currents leagues since there could be a langauge barrier which would make a team miss out on a very good player

i feel like the draft system from sports leagues would have to be modified if they want a draft format

its not hard to organize tbh its actually much harder to do this contract shit where orgs have all the control in a contract, if riot did it like the NBA you just need a salary cap and an actual F/A process and riot would have more control and teams would have more say and don't just lose amazing players. In a franchised scenario where orgs stay in competition

Imagine guild right now just straight LOST leo trexx in sayf if you remove the contract bs they can only leave in FA or trade lol

riot would neva and honestly its fine tho but from an objective standpoint its more balanced
