I did this before but reevaluating after Tokyo
5: Boaster - has case for goat IGL, but didn't see any success before this superteam. He's obv 5 bc of the other 4 players
4: Derke - best duelist, tied w Aspas. Very few duelists are elite at Raze and Jett (only Aspas and KK come to mind). Also elite at Chamber who is basically a duelist. Has been top 5 EMEA for 3 years, one of the most consistently great player in Val history. Only at 4 because the other players are so good.
3: Alfajer - best firepower since Tenz Reykjavic, but he's doing it against non-scrubs and for the past 6 months. If he can keep up this incredible form, he would be best player itw. Consistently wins 1v2's and 1v3's, just wins super impactful gunfights. Only reason he's 3 is because his impact comes from his ability to just shit on anyone, and while his utility is good, Nats and Less are clearly better at lurking and utility.
2: Chronicle - best flex ever by far, can play anything but has legitimately played 8 agents at an elite level (Breach, Sova, Viper, Raze, Kayo, Chamber, Brimstone, Sage). Best Breach itw, Sova diffed Crashies in Berlin, his Viper is only slightly worse than Nats and Less. Most consistently great player in history. 3 time LAN winner.
1: Leo - flawless player, he is Chronicle specialized for initiators (which I think is the hardest and most impactful role) and has a higher peak than Chronicle for his agents (best Sova, Fade, Skye itw). Chronicle overheats and makes mistakes, but Leo very very rarely does. Actually is the highest rated EMEA player every year over the past 3 years, his shit teams just held him back. I don't think it's close tbh, Leo has been perfect the past year.
