Their inability to share crucial information about the offseason is going to lead to a higher rate of teams leaving the scene

This is more of a scheduling problem to me. Like why is Champs in September, we couldve had another split in the summer and have Champs in November or December and giving pros a 2 month break from Christmas onto February. You can have off season then

I mean Game Changers Sau Paulo is in November but you have a point

Riot could've added 1 more split and have the Champs tourney in December

there is going to non-riot tier 2 events, but the lack of transparency from Riot is going to kill tier 2/3

the best way to fix t2 is to just allow T2 teams to qualify into the franchise league's playoffs and LCQ

the spontaneous underdog story becomes possible but it doesn't really take away from the franchised teams.
Riot wouldn't have to deal with making skins for these teams and they also wouldn't have to really deal with revenue sharing.
it also makes the ascension system way simpler (it wouldn't have to exist anymore)
