So I use 60 hz gaming laptop and play Valorant on 1920x1080 resolution.
I played val on my friends monster gaming pc with resolution 3840 x 2160
the experience was so good but crosshairs looked way smaller and i used the same as mine

So my question is with my shitty laptop do pro players if they have same res 1920x1080 they also have same crosshair size on their big monitor 240 hz+ or its just the resolution that changes it

It’s resolution that changes it. As long as the resolution is the same ratio (1080,1440) the crosshairs will look the same. It’s when you get out of that ratio (ie your friend) that it looks different

I mean it’ll change it like anything else on your screen, it’ll look less pixelated but as long as it’s the same ratio it shouldn’t be any massive difference.

Also I’m realizing now that his friend is in the same ratio and it looks different so idk LOL. I’ve only ever done 1080/true stretch

if you play on a higher res (4k) your crosshair will be smaller than on hd (1080p)

pretty sure the crosshairs on 4k monitors are much smaller. Anecdotally, my friend uses a 4k monitor, and uses dotsize 1 as his crosshair. When you spectate him on 1080p it looks like he isnt using a crosshair as its making use of pixels that dont exist on our screens. Also I think the way the valorant crosshair maker works is that say if your crosshair is 1-4-2-0 (yay/cnerd cross) its 4 pixels by 2 pixels along (or a multiple of this number), and on higher res it translates to a smaller crosshair as there are more pixels in total
