this video is fire but....
1) this should've been shot at night
2) how tf is this org still running and competing? didnt the investors back out and fire 100% of their "non player" staff

Depressed_TSM_Fan [#2]bro doesn't know how lay offs work... but anyways them not getting into Franchising over teams like C9, EG, and SEN hurt riot more than it hurt guard tbh
LMFAO you are delusional

so that literally is a reason for not to pick them. why would you want an org that doesnt value esports the same way it values its other ventures. m80 is a much better org

bro thinks he works at riot or some shit... deciding what org is better and shit

the guard has the money to literally buy out every single teams players, pay their entires family’s salary’s for the rest of their lives, and still it wouldn’t affect a single $. I wouldn’t say they don’t value it, they just haven’t had a reason 2 yet.

that doesnt mean they will spend that money? just coz shaq owns nrg, doesnt mean nrg has the budget of shaq's net worth to spend on esports.

them laying off their staff clearly shows how much of an effect it puts on them. the owner's net worth has almost nothing to do with how much of a budget the esports team has

in this case it does, he spends alot on his teams and it shows why they’re all championship teams. when he sees valorant as something to invest in he will, and i promise you no other org can compete with the backing, connections, and money he has. he is sitting on his team waiting.
BayArea [#8]It’s funny seeing people like you. There are so many people who hate on The Guard and don’t have a clue what actually happened there.
Bro he is just genuinely asking how do u see hate here

How is this hating??
Depressed_TSM_Fan [#18]i mean y would they keep on staff for an ascension rosterZ
people always looked at the guard as a now thing, they havent even put in %1 of what they will if they see valorant as profitable, maybe not this year or next but if you see esports having even 1/6th the viewers sports do you’ll see a org like guard as one of the biggest.
Depressed_TSM_Fan [#18]i mean y would they keep on staff for an ascension rosterZ
they have other esports too. and being in ascension doesnt account for literally firing every single staff in the org

i mean that would be really good to see. the way you are saying looks to me like they are willing to spend sentinels like money

I never said he was hating

they’re not making money, he’s a business man. the org is probably at a point now they can leave it on auto pilot until they’re ready to invest heavily into it. I’m sure once they see they’re able to be profitable in esports it’ll have the green light, you can even see them slowly putting in effort.
