next champs, add a "play-ins tournament" where all other regions can send their lesser seed teams to play in there and compete for the last few spots, the winning region would still granted of course but it'll be on the play ins, so next time there's no more "SEN would've clear every team in EMEA outside of FNATIC" debate anymore, SEN would actually need to duke it out against EMEA's lesser seed teams

they honestly should have APAC and Americas #2 LCQ teams compete for the final spot and take away the 3rd China slot

yeah that actually sounds dope, like #2 LCQ from all the international leagues (or #3 from EMEA in this case I guess) + #3 china will be put in a double elimination best of 3 bracket, and the winner would qualify for that last spot
