I mean the tournament alone has had insanely hype
moments. But besides that with the “rivaling” FNC their is a team? EG took them to Map 3 with the last map being insanely close, if EG had a stronger map pool it would honestly be possible but without fracture FNC 3-1 or 3-2. But the storylines for this Masters have been some of the best. For Example: PRX Final 3 Run with sub, EG Underdogs coming into the season to placing 2nd at Masters, KangKang and all of EDG winning the first international series as a Chinese team and putting on a show while doing it and even FNC proving themselves for people who called Lock In a fluke. Many more to been the most exciting tournament in a while

Yeah Reykjavik 2022 was a legit snoozefest with bad meta, fluke run, EMEA 1st seed not attending and Fnatic playing with 2 subs.

do we really want an era of singular team dominance though? I think valorant's greatest strength in being super engaging for fans every where is that there has never been rigid locks of where teams or regions will end up placing in events

Fnc was 2nd seed for this event. Optic was 2nd seed for every event. Eg is 4th seed for this event. We all know seeding ain't gonna matter much
