Americas LCQ Format Sucks

Why did riot go with this format?

It seems super odd to use this playoff format when they already have a perfectly good one ( see every playoff in the international leagues). Instead of every team having two chances, 100T and Sen are only given one, and léviatan, a team tied with them at 4-5 is given two.

I understand the kru mibr game, since they were both much lower in the standings and 7 teams is whacky, though I think a B05 would be more fair.

A knockout game is way more hype, but after lock-in we were told that single elim wouldn’t continue, and that was just for the one tournament, after everyone complained about competitive integrity, and now we’re going back to it.

Either way, knocking out of one 100T and Sen in the first game with no second chance seems gimmicky and lacks competitive integrity, when a team with the same number of wins as both of them is given an automatic first chance.

100T and SEN didn't even make playoffs which is why LEV is seeded higher and given a better chance to win lcq

100T don't even deserve a last chance after they bottle the game vs worst team of region which played with sub

Lcq format is fair. More win gives you more advantages, right decision.
