I hate this rhetoric. They're just crafting a narrative. Painting EG's players as "less" than Fnatic wasn't done to disrespect or devalue EG but to make the audience (who definitely don't care as much as vlr.gg do about the matches) believe in an underdog. To make them believe that the players playing better than their best (even if it's not necessarily true).

It's not possible to prove the doubters wrong if there were no doubters in the first place and the casters may choose to take that position if it suits the story they want to tell.

honestly every time pansy cast seems like she just point out the teams mistakes and not give them enough credit for some beatiful plays and then randomly praise one team out of nowhere

that's the point though, they make Fnatic seem better than they are to make EG feel more like an underdog to the crowd. Then, if EG wins it feels like they've just done the impossible by beating a team that was made to seem unbeatable.

yeah real shit. people really have them be like "ohhh well if likwid can buy on round 12 they might be able to turn this game around!!" like nah mate, a stomp is a stomp, teams are established or new, etc. theres always a story to be told

it feels kinda bad. It's like I am supposed to like pansy and hypoc casting. But I just don't.
They almost allways make biased takes on what's happening to feed supposed narratives.

Bren and sideshow are way better.
Even doug and balla. they make the game much more interesting.

pls. give us one of those to finals.
