Halleluhwah [#7]bloodborne > sekiro > ds1 > elden ring > ds2 > ds3
haven't played DeS yet
🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮
Cresp [#2]Did u play ds2 dlc i think they make the game a lot better. Still the worst tho.
Bloodborne is #1 imo
The DLC is decent, but the base game imo is so rough, that I can’t justify it being any higher.
Bloodborne had potential to be #1, but some inconveniences drag it down: 30 fps cap, farming blood vials and bullets, having to go back to the hunter’s dream to reset enemies or to fast travel, weaker bosses in the base game (though the DLC more than makes up for it).
Ailed [#3]Holy based I have same list sekiro and elden pretty interchangeable tho
Both games are goated. Elden Ring got me into the souls-like subgenre, but Sekiro impressed me the most with its combat. Best combat system in all of gaming imo.
Netero [#11]I actually don't play these, for single player I like a more chill experience like Skyrim tbh.
And I completely understand that. I used to be the same. Soulsborne and souls-like in general always terrified me. It wasn’t until Elden Ring where I started to understand the appeal for these more difficult games. The satisfaction you get from them is unmatched, and I haven’t looked back since.
kid_named_finger [#14]Dark Souls II over Dark Souls III is crazy
ds2 is the most experimental soulsborne game which makes me rate it higher, i just love the sheer insanity of some of the choices made in there. that's not to say ds3 is in any way bad or whatever, ringed city is one of the most memorable areas of games ever

Ds2 was experimental, but not in a good way most of the time. 2 biggest flaws are enemy placement and adaptability. Some of the most abysmal design choices.

adaptability is silly, nothing wrong with the enemy placements
xD1LL4N [#22]I never played any souls games,
what should i start with, Elden ring or sekiro ?
elden ring is the easiest to get into i think

Is Sekiro alot harder than elden ring?

Sekiro is easiest to get into but its the most different and has the steepest learning curve imo. But its not an rpg and its p chill overall.

Hmm sounds like ill start with Sekiro
xD1LL4N [#24]Is Sekiro alot harder than elden ring?
Sekiro has a brutal learning curve. Imo, it’s one of the hardest games on first play through. Once the combat starts clicking, it’s the easiest souls game to replay.
