hanafuuji [#2]how does a 12 team tourney work? is it gonna be the same as masters?
Idk lol... it's about to be pretty crazy.
CarnageBTC [#4]give EDG a free slot...they have no time to prep for this...ik they will clear everyone but some other team might come with #1 seed, and that might be bad for EDG in champs
there's like 2 weeks bro there's plenty of time for them to rest + prepare

I'm lowkey afraid that all the other teams just gonna vod review and counter strat them. But I do think they'll make it thru

there's plenty of time for EDG it starts in like July it's not like they're basketball players who are physically drained
valulrantefanboy [#7]Any team have potential even better than edg ?
Blg with whz. ASE actually not that bad just so inexperienced. I would say some of the newer teams like weibo/tyloo rng has promise. But I still think edg potential atm is miles ahead.
valulrantefanboy [#7]Any team have potential even better than edg ?
BLG looking insane tbh, whz is basically another KK with more consistency
valulrantefanboy [#7]Any team have potential even better than edg ?
yeah the main three is bilibilli and ASE but bilibilli just beat ASE twice before tokyo so I got them finishing second seed. ASE might not finish third either the FPX roster is looking a little better

I just want see a real decent team can keep their level internationally long term like optic core or loud, fnatic. Hopefully edg will maintain their level in LA

I think Totoro has potential no?
derptz [#14]I think Totoro has potential no?
Yes them too. But it's hard to say how consistent these teams can be. Edg just have more experience and consistency atm. I hope to see everyone level up tho.
Rimuru_T [#11]BLG looking insane tbh, whz is basically another KK with more consistency
I can see blg reaching the level of edg.

Common Riot L, give EDG a free spot
cboomer [#8]there's plenty of time for EDG it starts in like July it's not like they're basketball players who are physically drained
mentally drained is worse than physical..
hesketh2 [#23]ALSO THIS IS A LAN
Knowing Tencent/TJ its possible they built a new venue entirely for VALORANT, Two years ago they do the same building new venue entirely for LoL Wild Rift when they kickstart Chinese League.
What if this tourney is to debut potentially VCT China Venue?
Is this true ?

Can't say but its still a possibility
Kay- [#21]mentally drained is worse than physical..
nah bro 3 weeks isnt leaving any team mentally drained, they have plenty of staff and these players aren't as used as much as some other sports. European football and basketball players are actually drained not esports pros who have entire staffs to worry about the tactical and mental sides

those qualifier day were really tight... and there's also scrim that you can't forget.. and there's only about 2 week free (+travel) after they qualify to champions before they compete again.
